Hi,
I received a patch installation instruction for a linux software. However, i only understand step 1 & 2 and have zero idea on the steps involved, especially on the directory change. Please help. Patch Installation Instructions Installation Instructions Once the file is downloaded: 1. Log in as root 2. Open a terminal 3. Change directory to the location of the downloaded file 4. Type: sh ABC-X.XX.XX-Linux.run (where X.XX.XX is the patch number) Uninstallation Instructions Run /ABCDE/bin/patch_uninstall to remove this patch Thanks. |
