hi,
I'm having troubles with setting up the final stage of a nis server/client.
The server is set up completely, ypserv, nfs services run..the clients have ypbind configged.
The part that fails is where i want to let the users log in and get their 'exported' home dir from the server.
The server's /etc/exports contains : /home 192.168.0.YY/255.255.255.0(rw)
the clients /etc/fstab contains : linuxXX:/home /home nfs soft,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,nosuid 0 0
When the users try to log in they get :No write permission on $home directory and kde fails to get started.
Does anyone knows what i am doing wrong here?
Oh yeah i'm using Mandrake 9.0 blink.gif
Txs
