Linuxhelp _ Technical Support _ LiveUsb

I'm look to install a good linux on my usb 4gb. I tryed Fedora and Ubuntu so far but i think i need a tips because when im logged in it seem i can't install all package on Ubuntu and when i instal package on fedora they don't stay when i reboot. And i'm really new on linux so please can you stay simple hehehe

just out of curiousity, why are you installing linux? What are you wanting to do?

Also are you trying to install linux to a USB drive so you can run it on any machine? There's easier ways to do that. Much easier. Knoppix for example was an old favorite of mine.

Yes it is to be able to use a OS on multiple machine and keep my setting and file. But i found something promessing "LinuxLive USB Creator" i've been able to install fedora but i think i did something wrong and after some package installation i was enable to install more the loader buzy i then i call the day.
