Linuxhelp _ Technical Support _ problems with TLS, SASL, postfix and MySql

Posted by: daemonByte Jan 24 2009, 01:51 PM

Hi All, I'm new to major configuring of linux as previously I've used shared hosters and setting up an email server has defeated me. I have done a few tutorials and now I think my config files are a mess so I'll apologize for that now. I have courier working perfectly. I can connect using imap over tls with no problems. It can also receive emails. However try as I might I can't get smtp to connect via tls or for SASL to stop trying to use the berkley db for authentication. I want it to use my mysql database. If anyone could help with either of these problems I'd be very grateful.

smtpd.conf
