Well thats the grub shell prompt. I'm kinda unsure how you only have that but you can do something like grub>kernel (hd0,0)/boot/kernel to boot into Linux. The way the command will work out is "kernel" which tells grub you want to load a kernel, (hd0,0) or the hard disk and partition number, because you said you only have Linux I'm going to bet it's (hd0,0) and then you have to say where you kernel is. This is done by the location and the name of the kernel so if the /boot directory is one it's own partition then you need only to do (hd0,0)kernelname or if it's /boot is not it's own partition then (hd0,0)/boot/kernelname. Then when you hit enter grub will load the kernel and once it's loaded you just type boot and press enter and you'll be booted into Linux. so the syntax works out to:

grub>kernel (hd0,0)/boot/kernelname

grub>kernel (hd0,0)/kernelname.

I hope this is helpful
