Linuxhelp _ Technical Support _ Wireless Internet please help

I just got finished installing ubuntu and tried to wirlessly connect to the internet but to no avail i can do it just fine from vista but here it dosentwork

Not enough information provided.
What version of Ubuntu?
laptop or desktop? What is the make/model.
Do you know the make/model of wireless card.
Are you using encryption. If so what type? WEP, WPA etc.

Do you ride the bus or take your lunch?

Hey there
I have the same exact problem.
ubuntu-8.04.1-desktop-amd64
Laptop ...... Hp dv6810us
Wireless Card: Atheros AR5007 802.11 b/g WiFi Adapter
I do use encryption..... WEP

Please help me smile.gif
