new to this home based linux - I used to work in a freeBSD env a while back with txt printers, but this is nothing like it really. anyone have advice for a REAL novice to install gutenprint? or any other tips for my canon mp160 printer? I would hate to have to go back to supporting windows tongue.gif

oh yes, you need info - openSUSE 10.3 running cups, and its the canon printer using the USB connection.
