Hello,
I am doing LVM on Linux for a project and i cant figure out how to accomplish these tasks:
a) partition a disk into 4 partitions (these will be PV's).

cool.gif add three of these PV's to a VG.

c) create two LV's from the VG, and format them with a filesystem.

d) add the fourth PV to the VG and show how the space has increased.

IF anyone can help that would be great thank you:)

See the following howtos. Post back on what you do not understand.

Thank you I understand the concept I just don't understand what commands to put in. It's for a project I'm doing so none of the actual sizes matter I just need to know what commands to enter in to achieve those 4 objectives.
Thanks.

What I posted has examples on how to perform all the functions in your project.
