Linuxhelp _ Technical Support _ How to unzip a zip format file with subzip files inside

Posted by: SyedIrtaza Jan 24 2016, 01:46 AM

I have TSMC technology library. Its in the zip format. If i extract the zip folder, there are sub zip folders inside. And if i extract any particular zip folder it has .tar.gz file format inside. Please let me know how to extract it in just few commands. I want to make sure all the files are extracted within their own folders. Please help me in this regards.

I do not know how well this will work...

find /path/to/lib_directory --type f -name "*.zip" -exec unzip {} \;

find /path/to/lib_directory --type f -name "*.tar" -exec tar -xvf {} \;
