Linuxhelp _ Technical Support _ can't install grub

Posted by: eubillie Oct 2 2015, 03:00 PM

I installed ubuntu on my older dive and it couldn't install grub; neither could pcos; it's a pretty old drive so I tried the new one and neither could install it to the mbr or /boot; I just get the error, 'no such partition' on startup. The computer itself is pretty old, could it be a hardware issue? I've installed oses before and never had this problem.
