Hey all,

Is it possible in Red Hat or AIX to get the status of a user without having root authority?

Thanks in advance!

Define user status?

For example the who command will output all users currently logged in.

sorry, let me restate that. is it possible to gather the following information without having root authority?

is account locked out?
is account expired/disabled?
what is the password change frequency?
when was the password last set?
when was the account created?

No. AFAIK the user can only see if his password is about to expire with the chage command.
