Hi everyone,

i'm kinda in a pickle, maybe i'm just doing something wrong here.....

so i made a folder called say..... Tornado, and i got 2 groups, group A and group B. I wanna give Group A full permission to the Tornado Folder, and just say read to group B but still disallow anyone else who isin't part of group A or B.

at the current moment i got full permisison to group A, but anyone from group B or any other user can't access it......

thnx in advance,

Polo

Linux has 3 set of permissions : [user][group][others]
You can assign read/write/execute permissions to each set.
The [user] , [group] can be assigned for one user or one group at a time.

Thats coz group B comes under others and u haven't given read permission to others i guess.

Hope this helps
