Hey I need a good compiler for OpenGL in linux. Also I does anyone know a good guide!

I'm not sure how good these are because i've never attempted opengl, but you can have a poke around and see if they're usefull:

OpenGL doesn't needs an extra compiler....
If you have gcc,that will do.

As for a books.....i would suggest you should read this post...
