Linuxhelp _ Programming in Linux _ Visual C++ ?

Posted by: Ravage_D Nov 17 2004, 02:50 PM

Hey,

A little while ago I remember a friend mentioning a C++ Compiler that looked (or acted) the same way as Microsoft Visual C++. Now, I've asked him again, but he's forgotten the name and I'd be very interested in using a program like this.

So is there actually a Visual C++ Compiler out there for Linux?

I'm currently running Fedora Core 3.

Any information greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Hey,

I believe I've found the solution to my question!

A little program called "Anjuta". http://www.anjuta.org/

This appears to be exactly what I'm looking for! You can see a screenshot http://www.anjuta.org/screenshots/Screenshot-02.png

How did I find this?
Well, afriend sent me a link to a very useful website called "The Table of Equivalents" which basically names a windows program then several Linux equivalents.
