Linuxhelp _ Programming in Linux _ Script: Automount Flash Drives

Posted by: TBotNik May 25 2014, 04:01 PM

All,

I need a CLI BASH script, capable of being called from a master BASH script that finds, automounts any found USB/Flash drives and returns the size of the mounted drive(s).

All help and links appreciated!

Thanks!

The following URL has lots of ideas. What actually works may depend on the distribution/version of linux you are running. Once mounted the df command will display file system sized etc.

All,

Got part of this working and posted at:

Still a few parts hardcoded that need automation for full auto functioning.

Cheers!
