Posted by: tasamy May 19 2006, 02:29 PM

Hi all,
Can I load Linux on a chip and do not use a computer ?
I mean ... Can I put Linux loader only on a chip and put my compiled programs on it and run it ...
Can anyone help me on that ?

What do you mean by chip? Do you mean a jump or thumb drive?
A single board computer or embedded processor?

It is difficult to run linux without a computer/processor of some sort.

PLease explain further.
