Linuxhelp _ Hardware Support _ Drive problems

I was switching my laptop( Aspire 3680) that was running on vista and changed its OS to ubuntu 8.10. Now whenever it draws be it 2d or 3d its very very slow and I can even see 3d things rendering line by line.
Here is what dmesg says its a bit long so I had to upload it

Check Solder Connections where hard drive plugs into the motherboard. Could be a bad soldier break! Also check your Bios To see if your memory stixx at proper byte Size.

I would say it is a video driver problem and not a hardware issue.
Does this laptop use dynamic video memory? If so how much is allocated in the BIOS?

I am unable to download the dmesg output.

I sayproblem is not on hardware,it is video driver problem.
i think check your video driver.
