Linuxhelp _ Hardware Support _ Wacom Tablet

Posted by: Longhunter Dec 4 2003, 10:20 PM

I am new to Linux, desparately looking for a microsloth alternative, & can't even figure out how to set up my tablet. I have the "linuxwacom-0.4.1.tar.gz" file from Wacom, but I don't have a clue what to do with it! Maybe I should buy a MAc!

This contains a http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/howto/main to help you configure your tablet.

Thanks hughesjr, I think Linux is going to be a toy I play with in my spare time. It's much too complex getting simple things like USB Tablets, chat clients, & my Adobe Photoshop (I work as a digital imaging artist) to work. Windows domination is safe for a while yet. blink.gif I do appreciate your help though. Thanks & have a great holiday season! smile.gif
